Horse Trailer Breast or Butt Bar, Aluminum

This butt or breast bar is meant to replace old or broken bars, straps or chains on a straight-load or side-by-side horse trailer. The bar is made from 1 3/4″ outer diameter aluminum pipe. It has closed welded ends, with a attached steel ring at each end. The bars are measured by the length of the bar only, not counting the rings. We recommend that you order a bar 8″ less than the width of the trailer stall, to give room for attachments at both ends, including rings on the trailer wall. Hardware attachments are sold below.

*If you need to pad your butt or breast bar, order a pad the exact length of the bar. Order a SELF-WRAP KIT if you want 1 inch of padding around the pipe: It will make a 3  3/4″ diameter finished pad. (The pipe is 5 1/2′” circumference.) Order a Horse Trailer Pad, Round Without Pipe if you want more padding. It will make a 5 3/4″ diameter finished pad.
