These Jack Nuts are like the drywall equivalent. They draw up behind the wall as you tighten them with the screw and create a better anchor. The round collar stays outside the wall & eventually the machine screw will meet it in the center & it will look nice & neat. We have #10-24 X 1″ L machine screws on sale now also.
