Compartment Door Holder, Stainless Steel

This super-strong little well-made gadget has a powerful spring and is used to hold doors & windows open in a broad range of applications. The catch side opens to 45 degrees, and can be set to hold at a lesser angle, but it is designed to catch a door edge & hold it open 2″ away from the wall. The catch folds all the way over the base when it is closed, or at rest. Can be installed in either a vertical or horizontal position on a trailer wall.
The compartment door holder is 2 1/2″ tall X 1/2″ wide on the outside & the inside measurement is 1 7/8″, with the prong on the top having 1/4″ of holding area. The base is 2 1/4″ X 1/2″ wide & the screw centers on the base are 3/4″ apart. Mount with a #8 or #10 stainless steel screw.
