Flush mount, two pieces. Standard steel ring and mounting bracket slips behind the 4 1/8″ diameter anti-rattle hard plastic collar. Good for fastening butt or breast bars or use for any wall-mounted purpose because when the chain is unsnapped and hanging, the horse can slide by it without injury to himself or his blanket. D-ring protrudes 2″ when engaged..
Will not rattle doing down the road.
Used in utility trailers and horse trailers as a floor-mount tie down also, for both off-road vehicle use & horse hauling. Safe–won’t hurt a horse if he stands on it. We use it to mount butt chains in horse trailers. Not used for tying horses!
Fastens with one 1/4″carriage bolt & two #14 screws or just three #14 screws, depending on the wight of the item you are tying down. Breaking strength is 1,500 lbs.
