Vented glass lid allows steam to escape, which helps keep glass lid clear for viewing. Stainless steel construction. TRI-PLY ENCAPSULATED base that incorporates 2 layers of stainless steel with an aluminum core layer. The top pan has a stay-cool helper handle that gives you a better grip when removing the pan. Hand washing recommended.
