This slam action divider latch with handle is generally used as a component of the slam latch system on slant-load dividers for horse trailers.
Looking in from the back of the trailer, if your divider swings from the left & slams shut on the right side of the trailer, order a RH, which is the most common application.  LH may be for slant dividers where the horses are rear-facing, or used for other applications.
In all applications, the beveled surface of the slam latch must touch the catch when it is first slammed.
Body of latch is 5 1/2″ L, with a 3 3/4″ circumference (measurement around).
Grease zerk installed on body of latch.
Bolt protrudes 1 inch at rest, with a 2 1/2″ circumference.
Handle is 3 3/4″ L with a 1 3/4″ circumference. Weldable steel or weldable aluminum.
